Support workers at this NDIS disability care provider are mission-led individuals who want to make a real difference in someone's life.
The provider needed Work Health and Safety training that honoured that. This training would form part of an onboarding program to support new support workers so they are across what their WHS rights and responsibilities are, and what to do when things go wrong.
The goal
Transform compliance training into a meaningful learning experience that spoke to the person behind the work, and captured their lived experience as a support worker.
The outcome
A 20 minute interactive course was built in Rise which included critical reflections, compelling visuals and animated videos to simplify complex concepts, and realistic workplace scenarios.
